The Pilbara – Outback Australia’s Kaleidoscope of Colour was my second book.  And many of the photographs featured were shot during the height of one of the hottest summers in many years.  I felt it important to show the Pilbara across its many seasons and moods.  Because the best time to be somewhere is often when no-one else wants to go there because the conditions are not comfortable….
